الآجُرُّومِيَّة
Al-Ājurrūmiyya
The first grammar every student meets, and about thirty pages long. It names the three kinds of word, then works through every case ending in the language. We teach it on the forty-two hadith rather than on invented sentences.

The text
Public domain — read it at a library
Al-Maktaba al-Shāmila — matn al-Ājurrūmiyya, thirty chapters
Ibn Ājurrūm died in 723 AH, so the matn is long out of copyright. We link to the library rather than mirroring its files.
In English — ours
The book in English, as far as it is written
Our own translation, assembled from the lessons: 4 of 30 so far. The file grows as the course is taught, and its last page says how far it has got rather than pretending to be finished.
We link rather than mirror. The classical texts are out of copyright, but the modern printed editions of them are not, so we point you at a library that already carries one instead of putting somebody else’s edition on our server. What we do host is our own work.
Lessons
4 of a planned 30 are written. The rest are not, and this list grows as they are.
